Terms and Conditions

Welcome to A Major Seven Productions (Pty) Ltd. By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

A Major Seven Productions (Pty) Ltd, provides professional DJ, sound, and lighting services for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Services are delivered as agreed in the quotation or invoice provided.

2. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date.
This booking fee is the 50% non-refundable deposit.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid before or on the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via EFT, PayFast, or other approved methods.

3. Call-Out / Consultation Fee / Price Lists

For a tailored quotation and exact amount, a call-out or quotation fee may be charged for site visits or in-person consultations.
This fee may be deductible from the final invoice if the booking is confirmed.
This fee is valued at R350.00 non-refundable. Travel is up to 60km total. Further travel will result in travel costs.
Price List/Wedding Packages may be provided to the client’s request.
Price List/Wedding Packages are not exact amounts but starting figures.
Price List/Wedding Packages does not include accommodation.
Price List/Wedding Packages are subject to change.
Technical call-out fee is R1500 non-refundable for any technical issues, on existing AV installations.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made:
More than 7 days before the event: The remaining balance is waived.
7 days before: 50% of total quoted amount is owed in addition to the deposit.
Less than 48 Business hours of event : 100% of the total quoted amount is owed.
Refunds (if applicable) are processed at the discretion of A Major Seven Productions (Pty) Ltd.

5. Changes & Rescheduling

Date changes are subject to availability.
We will try accommodate rescheduling, but it is not guaranteed.
Significant changes to the event (location, time, scope) may affect pricing.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

Provide accurate event details (venue, times, access, PAX).
Ensure safe and suitable working conditions.
Provide reliable power supply where required.
Ensure venue access for setup and breakdown.

7. Equipment & Damage

All equipment remains the property of A Major Seven Productions (Pty) Ltd.
The client is responsible for any loss or damage caused by guests, staff, or third parties during the event.
Repairs or replacements will be charged accordingly.

8. Setup & Breakdown

Setup and breakdown times will be agreed in advance.
Delays caused by the client or venue may result in reduced performance time or additional fees.

9. Performance Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service if:
Conditions are unsafe
There is abuse toward staff
Legal or venue regulations are violated

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Power outages
Weather conditions
Government restrictions
Venue issues

11. Liability

A Major Seven Productions (Pty) Ltd is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of business, reputation, or enjoyment
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.

12. Media & Promotion

We may take photos/videos at events for marketing purposes.
If you do not wish this, please notify us in writing before the event.

13. Music & Requests

Clients may provide playlists or preferences.
While we aim to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee specific songs.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

15. Confidentiality of Quotations

Any quotations received, including all pricing, line items, technical details and scope information is confidential and provided solely for the use of the addressed recipient for evaluation of A Major Seven Productions’ services.
It may not be shared, forwarded, reproduced, published, or disclosed to any third party (including competitors or alternative suppliers) without prior written consents. Unauthorised disclosure may result in the quotation being withdrawn, repriced, or declined.

16. Agreement

By accepting the quote or paying the booking fee, the client confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
